My dog has a red bump on his eye, is it allergies?


This is day three, and we're taking him to the vet tomorrow. Has anyone encountered a similer situaion?

it could be cherry eye, i can't remember the proper name for it. If his eye is red and swollen on the inside (were the tearduct is in humans) then it probably is. These lumps will have to be removed by the vet during a very simple operation if it is. The operation is very simple and the procedure is as follows.
Steps:
1) They knock your dog out using gas.
2) They insert an airtube to ensure that he is breathing fine.
3) The red lump/s are/is removed.
4) They bring the dog round.
5) Your beloved puppy comes home!

no i cant say i havent but it may be a birth mark
If its a bull dog its a condition called "cherry-eye". Its common in bulldog breeds and can be treated by a vet.
yeah my cousin's neighbours dog had one then she had to get it removed.
