that you have used and the results are good? She takes zyrtec at night, has an air purifier in her room, doesn't smoke (she's 19) but her friends do.
I have used visine AC specifically for allergies it stings but it works really well when the allergies are in full effect. For everyday use, try visine tears just to keep the eyes moist and free of dust, smoke, etc. That is o.k. to use everyday but the ones with med in it use only when the eyes are effected. If her eyes are bad every single day you should go to the dr. and get perscription eye drops

I have had allergies since I was less than one years old (so my mom tells me) I never remember not having problems with my eyes so I have tried every eyedrop known to man and visine works the best.
