Does anyone have an eye allergy to sun block? If so, do you have a makeup to recommend? |
I can't wear foundation with a sun block in it because it makes my eyes burn badly. I have the same issues. My eyes would burn and my face would get dry and burn as well. I have since found Arbonne's makeup line. While their foundation is an SPF 8, I have had no problems. Their products are natural, with no mineral oils, animal products or by products, hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, etc. I've been very happy. Source(s): www.sandigrass.myarbonne.com My mom has this problem. start wearing spf free makeup. Try Dewy Smooth Anti-Aging Makeup SPF 15 by clinique makeup.Their products are 100% allergy free. That's what I use, I also get irritated by sun screen. Any good cosmetics company (including Lancome, Clinique, Origins, Arden, Lauder, etc....) tests their products extensively for allergies/reactions before putting any product on the market. I recommend that you visit a dermatologist to find out about what exactly makes you irritated -- what ingredient in sunscreen irritates your skin, and then shop for a good foundation based on that (Lancome tests many women and if more than 1% come back irritated, that product will not be put on the market). I know it seems kind of like a hassle to have to go to the dermatologist, but you could be allergic to other things and not know it. If you are allergic to suncreen, then you have very sensitive skin, and the Dr. will be able to help you avoid other ingredients that would otherwise irritate your skin. I hope this helps!!! Clinique has a lotion called city block, which is hypoallergenic, very light weight, you wear it under your makeup, and it protects against elements such as the sun, wind, and even pollution! I love it! |
