Allergies and eyes!? |
I thought I was suffering from hayfever but no hayfever eye drops have worked, and seem to make my eyes worse (swelling, burning etc). My eyes will be fine one day, but sore, swollen, crusty and itchy the next, and very watery. I don't understand why, any advice? No, I don't think you have pink eye. If it was pink eye the symptoms wouldn't go away for a day or any length of time actually. I suffer the same thing only mine is a constant itch that no matter what I use eye drops, antihistamines, nasal spray it won't go away until the allergy season is over with. Over 30% of Americans are allergic to grass, me included, consult an allergist maybe you'll have better luck with medications. It sounds like " pink eye " ,you need to go to the doctors for medication. It's very contagious. hi i agree with gerdie..go to your doctor..feel better ok.. I have heard that putting on artificial nails can cause your eyes to react with allergic symptoms such as swelling and itching. So, if you had your nails professionally done with adhesives, it might be that. |
