My dog has allergies and wont stop iching her eyes what do i do???? |
are there any creams to use tht wont harm her?? or get in her eyes.... Try Benadryl. You'll have to guess, according to her size and compare that to adult -vs- child dosing on the package. But, that'll take the edge off til you can get her to the vet, which is ultimately what you should do...but, it will alleviate her symptoms temporarily and it's safe for her. Definitely, do not give benadryl to your dog. It is tested in humans and may harm your dog. Instead, go to the vet immediately. If you can't afford it, at least call and they might be able to recommend an 'over the counter' medicine for your dog at the pet shops. Warm compresses until you can get her to the vet. I wouldn't give her anything pill wise unless the vet ok's it first. You could also try a couple of drops of visine allergy eye drops. My Chihuahua has the same problems and I either use the visine or the medicated ointment I got from my vet. Good Luck Just get it a treatment!! |
