Does anyone get a bright white spot on their throat with allergies? (Sniffles, sneezing, watery eyes too)?

Every year I get sick around this time of year. I have one very white bump on the back of the right side of my throat. Is this normal with allergies?

Have you had your tonsils removed? It sounds a little bit similar to my old problem. The doctor saw many white spots (which I think are some kind of infection). When I had my tonsils and adanoids removed, he said that they had been very infected, and it was a good thing I removed them. My allergies seem to have been better since, and I don't get sick as much.

I've heard from numerous people that removing tonsils helps with allergies...and Doctors have heard the same thing. However, there's no medical knowledge as to why.
yes, my daughter does the same thing you mentioned here, each time we visited the dr. antibotics are prescribed and in 10 - 14 days spots are gone and feeling much better.
