My allergy eyes are puffy and swollen. Is there any way I can make them, at least, look better or normal? Take antihistamines like Benadryl to lessen the allergic reaction, but be sure to take them at night because you can get really drowsy after taking them. Puffy, swollen eyes are the effect of your hypersensitivity reaction. You may also avoid the allergen to prevent your onset of allergic reaction. But be sure to consult the doctor first. Wear shades if you really want a simple remedy. put an ice pack on them. if that doesn't help, wear shades when you go out. Run a washcloth under cold water and press gently onto your eyes. Try placing cold used tea bags on your eyes. I know you'll think I'm crazy for even putting this in here, but I saw it for myself on t.v. and read it, that top models use Preparation H for that. Makes sense 'cause it brings down or eliminates swelling, but I would be real careful not to get it directly into your eyes. Under the eyes and over but not too close to the eye itself. Ask around to find out if this true about the models, but it wasn't denied or contradicted in that article or on tv. I have used cucumber slices or cold tea bags, just apply to your eyes for a few minutes, make sure the tea bags are wet and cold. also if you wear makeup put a white eyeshadow under your eyes and blend in with your makeup to hide the puffiness. hope this helps personal use |
