Migraine problem and allergy problem with eyes? MIGRAINE PROBLEM AND EYE ALLERGY Migraine is due to temporary vascular changes which take place inside the brain. Exact cause of this is not known. Try avoiding the triggering factors such as nuts, chocolate, cola, bright light, lack of sleep etc. By avoiding these factors, frequency and intensity of attack can be reduced. There are medicines, which are found to be useful in preventing attack in some individual. There are some medicines that help with the migraine you would need to contact your doctor for that. Sometimes it's stress, muscle tension, or the blood vessels in your brain that are bulged out and press on the part of your brain where you feel the pain. If it is a blood vessel you will want to get an MRI or CT scan to make sure that the problem can't turn into a possible stroke.. Check with your doctor and ask them lots of questions. Allergies with your eyes.. Do you wear contacts? Because if you do, I would suggest one take our contacts, and wear glasses, then get some allergy drops for your eyes. I had that same problem during the spring and fall with itching and burning in my eyes while I wore my contacts. I would take them out rinse really well with saline solution and wear my glasses until the "allergy" season was over.. normally a couple months.. If you wear glasses also would help to get your prescription checked because that might be another reason you get migraines.. The stress and tension on your eyes, (since your eyes are directly connected to your brain) can cause similar problems..
