The corner of my eye has been very itchy for about 2 weeks now. I don't think it's allergies.. what is it!!

Every other day or so the corner of my eye (closest to my nose) will get super itchy. Then the skin under my eye will get puffy. I've never had this problem before. It's driving me insane. It's SOOO itchy sometimes.

the *classic* symptom of ocular allergy is itching just exactly as you describe. so even if you dont have a runny nose or any of the other typical signs of allergy, it is still possible/probable IMO that you have ocular allergy.

try an over-the-counter product called "ALAWAY" eyedrops. it was Rx-only until Jan 1, 2007...now its OTC. its topical antihistamine, and will pretty much instantly stop ocular itching from ocular allergy.

if that doesnt solve your problem, then you need to visit an optometrist Source(s): optometrist

Bumps? Dots? I think it's just allergies to food/medicine, I'd have it checked but no big deal, as long as it doesn't effect your vision.
sounds like allergies to me but this is your eye!!!!

go the doctor
