Bad oral health?


Can bad oral hygiene cause canker sores in ur mouth?

Canker sores are known as apthous ulcers. They are usually precipitated by an event, be it stress, or a specific food, or something else. Having apthous ulcers is autoimmune, meaning you are born with it. Is it cause by bad oral hygiene? Maybe, can't say for sure.

Since I can't really tell you for sure what is causing your canker sores perhaps I could offer you up a good over the counter solution for your canker sores when they pop up. Zilactin-B, hurts like hell when you place it on but lasts a while and you will get immediate relief. With apthous ulcers you can't cure it, you can only treat the symptoms. If it is real bad, your dentist may place you on steriod therapy.
