How do i maintain good oral health?

How do i maintain good oral health?

My best suggestion is this.

1) Obviously start by brushing your teeth. Especially right after a particularly sugary meal.
2) Then, floss to ensure you get out particles between the teeth as well as the toothpaste.
3) Rinse.
4) Then, swish with Listerine (any flavor) for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Spit it out. Then rinse with water again.

The Listerine step is important. I've found that this step alone keeps the plaque from coming back nearly all day. It also kills bacteria between the teeth and on the tongue (to give fresher breath all day). This system works far better than brushing alone and keeps the teeth and gums healthy.

Also, visit your hygenist at least twice a year to have your teeth cleaned. This will also help find any problems.
Brush and floss twice a day and visit your dentist for a cleaning every 6 months.
spit instead of swallowing
Of course brushing (your tongue too, it holds a lot of germs) but the main cavity fighter is flossing! You can reach spots you usually don't by brushing!
1st answer is correct.. + dont eat alot of spicy foods
This is what i do:
1. Floss

2. Whitening pre brush rinse.

3. Brush with a powered tooth brush.

4. Tongue cleaner (main source of bad breath).

5. Listerine mouth wash.

Takes a while, but definately worth it. Especially when it comes time for getting with that special someone.
