What can be the permanent effects of oral contraceptives? WHAT ARE THE GREATEST RISKS TO A WOMANS HEALTH? |
I CHOSE THE TOPIC FOR A PERSUASIVE PAPER. THAT MAYBE THE PILL ISN'T AS SAFE AS WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN LED TO BELIEVE. ESPECIALLY NOW THAT STUDIES ARE SHOWING PERMANENT CHANGES IN WOMEN EVEN AFTER DISCONTINUING THE PILL. Oral contraceptives are perfective safe in women who were healthy to begin with. The only side effects are increase in weight and hair growth. In women who already have clotting problems, it may increase that. I know of no studies showing "permanent changes" in women after discontinuing the pill. There are no permanent changes. |
