Has anyone experienced nerve problems after an injury resulting in osteoarthritis?

About 7 years ago, I had a broken ankle which now has resulted in osteoarthritis. About a month ago, it felt like bugs were crawling on the top of my foot. They weren't & I'm not on drugs. Now if I touch the back of my ankle, I can feel it in the front. Should I be concerned? It doesn't hurt; it's just annoying.

It is possible that the arthritis or calcium deposits from your injury press on nerves from time to time causing this effect. You always have the option of seeing a Dr. and having xrays to see if the arthritis has progressed or bone spurs, calcium deposits are now there.

mine is not the same.
i was Santa at the mall 4 years ago.
very shortly after starting, my wrists started hurting.
but it was only a short job, so i ignored it.
now, 4 years later, i've not recovered.
i've been told it's osteo psoriasis, which, when you look it up, as associated with arthritis.
they did a test, and said it's not carpel tunnel.
sometimes it's better, sometimes worse.
lately, it seems like nerves are involved.
i have a sensation something like that i associate with hitting my funny bone.
i'd hoped to go skiing (it was getting better it seemed) but now it hurts to turn a door knob.
near as i can figure, it'll probably never get better.
