I have osteoarthritis and i drive against my doc's wish. is it advisable?

it's in my hip region.left and right

Failure to follow your doctor's advice is NOT smart.
As far as I am aware if your doctor has told you not to drive, your insurance becomes invalid, and youre supposed to the DVLA know, otherwise your doctor might do this for you.
Friend told the same thing his doctor told DVLA
You should listen to your doctor. Your doctor advised you not to drive for a reason.
