Anyone here have both osteoarthritis and scoliosis?

How do you cope? What type of pain management do you do? This past week I was in agony. I couldn't function without medication. Then, I just slept. Thankfully, I could just rest and have my family care for my 13 mo. old daughter all week. My doctor wants me to start physical therapy this week.

I suggest seeing a good Chiropractor. They can help decrease the muscle spasms that are caused by the scoliosis. It is not a cure-all, but it will decrease the amount of medication you use and it can get you back to caring for your daughter. If you have questions, e-mail me. fitmedic2001@yahoo.com, I can find a good one in your area.
that sucks for u
Go to a health food store and ask for "Total Comfort".

It's all natural and works for me. No more pain medication.
I chew pain meds like Candy(which is why I have liver damage) I was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis, scoliosis and I have 2 slipped discs in my lower back. I have been told by 2 different doctors that I have the most crooked back they have ever seen. I was told that swimming is good. I dont have insurance..so I am pretty limited on what I can and cant do.
