Anyone on here have both osteoarthritis and scoliosis?

How do you cope? What type of pain management do you do? This past week I was in agony. I couldn't function without medication. Then, I just slept. Thankfully, I could just rest and have my family care for my 13 mo. old daughter all week. My doctor wants me to start physical therapy this week.

great big ouch going on for you here now. 10 years ago i was in such pain that i couldn't use the bathroom, or brush my teeth without assistance. it was horrible... i had 2 emergency room visits where demerol was given, i was in such pain. i had 3 series of spinal injections, and the pain ended! i had physical therapy as well, and experience numbness in my left leg, to me a small price to pay for the absence of pain. get a good orthopedic doctor, and run with the advice. i feel that i was given a new lease on life after my pain was gone, and i hope for the same for you!! best of luck!!
i have scoliosis it hurts i do exercise
I have pretty severe OA but my scoliosis is mild. I'm so sorry to hear about the amount of pain you're experiencing. I think your MD is right. PT would really help build you back up physically. Good luck to you friend.
