What is the best cure for the symptoms of osteoarthritis?

What is the best cure for the symptoms of osteoarthritis?

Sorry there is no cure. I will not take drugs but I do take vitamin supplements they are

Pain Relief Complex
Joint Health Complex
Alfalfa

These really help me alot and they don't irrate my stomach
Sorry but there is no cure. Exercise and prescriptions are about the only way to keep them at a bearable level. That glucosamine (?spelling) is supposed to help also but did not do much to help me. Some people swear by it though. Ask you Dr and see if he/she thinks it is right for you
I have it in my hip. I take Aleve when it hurts, and I take 1,500 mg of Glucosamine daily. The medical literature isn't totally supportive of Glucosamine but it seems to help me and others alot. The other two suggestions are to keep moving and to lose weight, if you have it in a part of the body that supports your weight, like your hip or knee. Good luck.
There is no cure for arthritis, but it can be managed with treatment.
No cure just medication. Celebrex is the best.
My B/f has severe rhumatoid arthritis and other than his advil the only other thing that helps is marijuana .... some countries allow for medicinal marijuana if the pain is severe enough... it works!
Good luck!

You may get some help from a physical therapist.
I have osteoarthritis worst in my neck and hips. A physical therapist showed me how to keep my shoulders back and keep my neck straighter. I followed the instructions to the letter, and I continue to work at strengthening my back muscles for posture. I no longer have pain from that area.

I have noticed that if I wear shoes that do not support the outside of my foot, either by structure or because the heel has started to wear away (I supinate, the reverse of pronate) then my hips are much worse.

I think maybe in my case, poor body mechanics has caused excessive wear in weaker parts of my joints. By changing to better mechanics, I put the stress back to the unworn areas which still function without pain.

It's better to think about posture than think about how much pain you're in. I hope this can help you too.
