Can someone explain the difference in allopathic and osteopathic medicine?

Osteopathic medicine takes a more natural approach, i.e. Hypnosis or Acupunture.
The other is a more kind of interfering approach. i.e. Medicines that effect the chemicals in your body or things that force your body to react.
