Osteoporosis at 46.....? |
Does anyone know why/ how a 46 y/o healthy female can delvelop osteoporosis at 46. Dr. says its mainly in my spine and he says I have the bones of a 70 yr. old. I had part of my stomach removed 12 yrs. ago and I am wondering if this is related to that. I am suppose to take foltrin (a intrinsic factor/ iron supplement) but, alas.... I haven't. Any thoughts Yes, very much likely is related to your stomach surgery, but also there are other factors to consider. |
