Are cracking joints a sign of early-onset osteoporosis? |
I'm a petite female and I've heard that individuals with small bones are more likely to develop osteoporosis than others. I just found out that my mom (58 yrs old) has osteoporosis and she's petite as well. Also, in the past couple years I've noticed more and more of my joints are starting to crack.......should I worry? Maybe take some daily vitamin tablets? Depending on your age, maybe you could ask your doctor for a bone density test. Take a multivitamin and lifting weights also helps alot. |
