yes Fosamax is a good med for osteoporosis. I have a patient that has been on it since it came out and He is doing very well with it. You need to make sure that you take it as directed. No, its not true,there are other ones out there, and not everyone can take Fosamax.
I could not take Fosamax, I tried... but I now take Boniva ONCE A MONTH with no side effects at all.... Ask your dr about it
