My friend just found out she has ovarian cancer...? |
and its in its advanced stages so they only gave her a year to live.. she has no money and no insurance to get kemo and even if she did she only has a 5% chance to make it through that kemo.. someone please help me.. i need to find a way to raise money for my girl, we just lost a good friend back in November i cant do this again.. she doesnt want everyone to know because she doesnt want everyone calling and questioning her but the only way i can think to raise money is to tell all the people we work with about the situation and do a collection.. but that goes against everything she wants right now.. any suggestions are welcome.. thank you go get second opinion and also get in contact with cancer treatment center and also appreciate time u have with your friend and hope for the best. I think you should respect her wish not to tell everyone. If you want to do a fundraiser, try making it for cancer in general. Don't name any specifics, say it's for a friend in great need who wishes not to make her name public. If you're a trustworthy person, people will still donate to you even though they don't know the person. It's worth a shot, but if you really care about your friend you won't go against her wish to not have everyone know. |
