Is it ovarian cancer?! HELP!?

i have two large cysts on my ovaries, and a bunch of weird symptoms - flushing, anxiety attacks heart palpitations, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, tiredness and pains in my liver area, these symptoms all started after i found out about the cysts, im 30 yrs old, what are the chances it is cancer or that it has spread ? my doctor says he wont know until i get surgery next month,,,,, anxious here....

There is much less than a 1% chance you have cancer. In fact, most ovarian cancer produces no symptoms. Since you are so young (and I assume still menstruating), these are highly likely to be cysts. If you have a history of ovarian cancer in your family, however, I'd pay closer attention and perhaps even consider having your ovaries removed after you are done having kids. I am battling ovarian cancer (but I am in my 50s and have a family history). I wish now that I had had them removed years ago. Your doctor has to be cautious which is why he has to tell you he won't know if this is cancer until surgery. Good luck and God bless you; you will be fine!

All the weird symptoms can be your anxiety. I had an ovary with 2 large cysts on it and the other one was loaded with cysts. All cancer free. Have your doctor run a cancer screen blood test. If those numbers come up high then they will probably move your surgery date up. BUTTTTTT it could all be just cysts. Think POSITIVE!

It sounds like you have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom) If you look up those symptoms it will be basically how you described it. If you are really concerned you could go get a pap and they can tell you for sure without having to wait. Hope this helps!

Ovarian cysts are much more common than ovarian cancer. It is more likely that they are genuinely cysts. The other symptoms could easily be caused by anxiety and depression about your condition.

Try and calm down and wait for the surgery.

Good luck

An ovarian cyst does not mean cancer. Most cysts are benign. When they remove the cysts, they will test it. I have a cyst on my left ovary and all the doctor wants to do is watch it to see if it grows or disappears over time. Most cysts disappear. A few remain and grow.. most importantly - most are benign. Your pulpatations and anxiety attacks may be related to you being nervous about the surgery so chill.. and good luck.
