What are the odds this ovarian cyst is cancer? |
I have a large (10cm), septated, ovarian cyst and I'm 14.5. weeks pregnant. I'm 38 and this is my 4th child. The dr. says it's blood-filled. What are the odds its cancer?? I am scheduled for surgery in two weeks and am very very scared. Minimal. If its blood filled, that makes it a probable hemorrhagic cyst. It probably formed from the corpus luteal cyst that normally forms after ovulation and last into early pregnancy. It is rather large, however, and it seems reasonable that the doctor would want to take it out - if it were to rupture, you could continue to bleed internally. Oh my how awful for you. |
