If you are searching for a grief support group you can try an online group or contact Cancer Care as they have bereavement counseling.

Or try some of the online support groups. There often isn't a group specific for ovarian cancer loss . . but there are people who are dealing with their own type of loss and they will listen to you:

i lost my mother to ovarian cancer and my father to pancreatic cancer in a span of 18 months. I was overwhelmed and in a haze of distractions. This was just 3 years ago, and I am only now feeling a bit normal.

If you want to talk I would love to listen. Just send an email. Talking is great for any situation, especially very painful losses.

i live in the austin area and we have pink ribbon cowgirls. also i have the BRCA gene which BRCA 1 is related to ovarian cancer and BRCA 2 relatated to breast cancer (mine) and we have a an austin BRCA club. hope this helps
