Teenager with possible OVARIAN CANCER (??)-DOCTORS-ONCOLOGYST-IMMIGR... WORKERS?

My sister is 18, never been sexually active, and she just had surgery (yesterday) (to supposedly remove cysts/tumor attached to her ovaries that were causing her much pain and other symptoms). When the doctors opened her up they found out that the tumor (or cancer ?) had spread out to even her intestines & other organs they could not remove anything until they did a biopsy, so they closed her up. Biopsy results will be in Thursday this week. They think she might have OVARIAN CANCER, since the Oncologist was there at the time of the surgery. They also mentioned that they might give her RADIOTHERAPHY sessions or CHEMOTHERAPY sessions NEXT, TO REDUCE THE TUMOR/ CANCER and THEN do surgery. I told my parents to get a 2nd opinion, as soon as they get the Biopsy results. My sister lives in the Dominican Republic and health services are not as close as good as in the US. I am a Resident Alien, soon to be US Citizen in 1yr or so.
I'm not sure what 2 do, WHAT DO U THINK/SUGGEST?-HELP!

It's unusual for a girl that young to get ovarian cancer, but it happens. I've heard of girls even younger get ovarian cancer. Wait and see what the biopsy says, and take it from there. She can always go for a second opinion.
