I have a cyst on my left ovary, just finished chemo for ovarian cancer? |
I finished my chemo (Carbo/Taxol) on May 1, and on 31st had a CT scan done. I saw my doc yesterday, he said that I have a cyst on my left ovary, but there's nothing to worry about as each woman develops a cyst during her cycle. I don't know about that, but I know that my cancer started as a "cyst". So, I'm scheduled for an ultrasound this Saturday. I'm totally freaking out! Can it be another tumor if I just had chemo? I doubt that it is cancer because what your doctor told you is correct. I would certainly keep an eye on it but it does not sound like the cancer has returned. i had cysts and fibroids and have to have a hysterectomy. no cancer involved. best thing ever though that is possible, but that is why they are performing the test to make sure it is or if it is not.....Good Luck |

I doubt that it is cancer because what your doctor told you is correct.
