Do I have Ovarian Cancer or Something?

I have been having problems with my menstrual cycle for the past four months. They are always coming late (usually 15-23 days apart, now 35-50). And I have these cramps where they are so painful I can't even stand. They never last for more than 4 days, and I have unusual cravings all the time (I rarely eat that much, went from 1000cal to 15-3000cal a day). My mother said it may be a fertility problem or some type of cancer, and that YAZ would help, at least it's what my doc said she'd put me on if this doesn't stop. Any ideas on what it is?

This doesn't sound like a cancer to me. Ovarian cancer, which would affect hormone levels, doesn't usually have symptoms until very late. Also, you sound too young to have ovarian cancer.

This sounds like hormone imbalance to me. It can be caused by weather, stress, diet, or just with no reason. If you started your period less than 2 years ago, you sometimes go through several weird periods for several months before your period becomes regular and the kind of period that you will have for the rest of your life.

When I started my period, I didn't have cramps, it only lasted 4 days, and at first it was every month btu then it started to skip months...etc. Finally, it started being regular, I got really bad cramps unfortunately, and it lasted a week. It has been like that ever since.

I would mention it to your doctor just in case they can get you checked for other things like cysts, which aren't dangerous but can be painful.
