Ovarian and uterine cancer - doctors please?

In what age group do they usually occur?

The reason I am wondering is that if they usually occur in postmenopausal women, would there be a point in preventive hysterectomies, or do the risks of surgery outweigh the possible benefits.

Please forgive my terrible punctuation, I was in a hurry.

I鈥檓 not really following you as a preventative hysterectomy would only be recommended if you had a very high risk for getting one of these cancers and it would be highly unusual to be at a high risk for both. But to answer your question the peak incidence for both are between the ages of 55-65.
