My hamster has ovarian cancer. Where should we go for treatments?

Please Help!! The docters said she would only last 1 more month if not treated!

The doctors were right... Ovarian cancer in stage 4 is untreatable.

You can donate her to science; who knows, maybe your hamster will pave the way for ovarian cancer treatment -- at least she'll be dying for a cause and millions may survive because of that.

I'm sorry; but there's nothing more you can do.. it's a hamster. Source(s): Common Sense
Maybe get a second or third opinion. There are vets that are specialists in the cancer area. I had a hamster who went to another doctor and had cancer, That doctor preformed surdgery and saved his life. I would highly suggest you go to another vet that is a specialist!

As long as we have women in this country with Ovarian cancer not getting the treatment they need- And we don't have a cure- I don't really think we should be putting resources towards hamsters
Please...your priorities are pure crap! Women have a slim chance of beating ovarian ca. as it is, feed her to a cat and be done with it...there's nothing that can be done short of chemotheraputic torture(although for a hamster that's not a bad idea). Try palliative radiation treatment with a microwave!
I AM SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOUR HAMSTER IS SO SICK. REALLY THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO BUT MAKE HER COMFORTABLE. LETTING GO OF ANY PET IS HARD BUT IT'S BETTER THAT SHE PASSES ON THEN TO BE HERE SUFFERING. HANG IN THERE!
