II am battleing ovarian cancer for a year,Im a registered nurse but am unable to work because of medications? |
Im 50 years old and have gone back to school to give me something to do but Im still having depression problems,I'm on anti depressant just started 2 weeks ago--anyone have suggestions how to play this out?? If you're a RN you know that antidepressants take a while to work. You should also know about support groups....try and find one in your town, it makes a world of difference. If there aren't any in your town, go online. There has to be something out there for you.....if you can do Alcoholics Anonymous online, there should be an Ovarian Cancer Support group somewhere out there. Good Luck, and I hope you get better soon. Source(s): I am a Certified Medical Assistant for 18 years. You could apply for social security disability I am so sorry for what is going on in your life. My sister is battling Brest Cancer. You might want to check with your local community center or someone at the school to see if there are any programs or support groups. Also you can use the Internet. I wish you well in the battle of this illness, Bless you my friend, you are not alone. i dont think supprot groups work when you are depressed from the treatments .. im battleing breast cancer and the depression gets bad.. the antidepressants helped for a while but now they not helping so im going to ask the doc to raise the mg up.. |
