Has anyone here survived ovarian cancer and how did you do it? |
Mom has stage 3 OvCa. Looking for anything you may have done beyond chemo (in addition to) that helped you out so I can tell her. Thanks! My best friend survived ovarian cancer, I am sorry I don't know the stage but it was visable to the naked eye at surgery so it was not microscopic. It has been about two years now. She kept good nutrition and tried to keep good general health. She was a social worker but gave herself permission to give the job up and concentrate on herself. If you can't do it at that time when can you do it? I am also a stage three survivor of cervical cancer. Source(s): Personal experience Apparently walking is really good. I have come across this web site where a few cases of cancer have been cured with alternative treatment, www.ayurveda-cancer.org case studies section please refer to this site A big hug to your mother! The Globe and Mail is doing a series on cancer. A friend of mine was featured in it. She has stage 4 ovarian cancer and is fighting like @%&*##! here is the link. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/s... www.globeandmail.com Ovarian cancer is a pain. It is rarely caught until the end, in the final stages. Also, it shows no real symptoms until the end. I don't know about anyone that I know who's survived it. |
