I need to know when ovarian cancer was dicovered/1st diagnosed ?



Date and origin, please. Also, Who was the first patient or known carrier. Whom discovered it? was it diagnosed in a living person? What method's were used in dignosing it? Thanks Much

Cancer is an ancient disease, including ovarian cancer. It's been around since human beings have walked the Earth.

Some of the first recognized cases of cancer occurs in the fossilized remains of humans. The first written mention of cancer is around 1600 AD in Egypt. The papyrus discusses 8 breast tumors and mentions that 'there is no treatment'.
