What are the symtoms for ovarian cancer?
I had ovarian cancer at the age of 20. There were not symptoms. The pap smear came back negative because it only checks the uterus. I only found out because as cash register drawer opened into my stomach and ruptured the tumor. I went to the Dr on MOnday and they removed everything on Tuesday morning. There is a blood test called CA-125 that checks for ovarian cancer.
There are no specific symptoms for ovarian cancer which is why this particular disease is so insidious. By the time it is detected it is often spread throughout ones system.
