My mom (63yrs)is dying of ovarian cancer.Tonight at the hospital she asked me if she was dying. I said yes,?


Tonight she asked me if she is dying. I said yes, but didn't know how to comfort her. She is being transferred to hospice house from the hospital.

First, Im sorry that you are going through such a horrific experience. However, Your are comforting your mother in the best way possible. Telling her the truth helps her prepare and say and do the things she needs to before leaving this place. Your honesty will let her lay in peace and your love will keep her alive longer warm and happy!

You told her the truth, which is what she needed to know. You can comfort her by being by her side as much as humanly possible. God bless you both.
All you can do is try to see that she's comfortable and treasure every moment that you share together.
