Puppy suddenly has overactive bladder? |
I have had my puppy for about a week and, typically, she urinated once every 1-3 hours. Well, today, for about an hour, she suddenly needed to go every 10-15 minutes and it seemed to take her by surprise and she would just have to go wherever she was standing (one spot being her own bed). It looked completely out of her control and after the first pee it was all completely clear. it might be the shot that does it. watch her fluid intake to see if it adds up. Is she suddenly going only a half hour after drinking? It may be a bladder infection. This is sometimes a sign of a urinary tract infection. Take him to the vet for a check. it's probably from drinking too many fluids ,so dont give him as much fluids and the bladder should slow down. try reducing the water in take( try Ice cubes it works) |
