I think my 3 yr old daughter has an overactive bladder.? |
What will the doctor tell and what are the treatments available? Any meds available? I took her to the doctor for a UTI and she didn't have one. She has to go to the bathroom every 10 min or she urinates in her pants. It has been going on for like 5 months now and no UTI. My dd who is now 6 has had this prob for as long as I can remember. You should observe her closely to see if this is so due to the amount of liquid intake. I`ve had my fair share of UTIs and if a child had one, you`d know. There`s usually a burning sensation and belly pains associated with UTI. Usually, kids grow out of the need to go so frequently. There are treatments such as Detrol but I think that`s for adults. I think you should monitor her closely before coming to any conclusions. It sounds like she may have a UTI and needs to go to the doctor. |
