Does any one know exsactly what pain management doctors look for in there drug urine screen?

Any narcotic medications or illegal drugs. They want to make sure that the patient is not self-medicating with drugs that aren't prescribed from the doctor.

When I started at a pain clinic, I had to sign papers that I would only have my prescription filled at one pharmacy, inform them if I was prescribed other pain medication, and agree to monthly urine tests.

I think it is a way to weed out the people that aren't in chronic pain and are looking for pain medications to get high.

I would assume any illegal substances???
Or maybe the drugs you are prescribed,and the levels,to see if you are taking them as prescribed.

Illegal drugs. They want to make sure you are not scamming them...
