Help with pain management?

i took a 20mg oxycotten pill on sat -- i took a pain mngmt drug test on monday - will it show up ? thx?
i am not an abuser --

i take fentenyl patches but when I was visiting my mother this past weekend who was dying of cancer i needed breakthrough medicine and did not have my pills with me ,,,,,,,, -- it was just a one time ingestion -- one 20mg pill -- instead of my normal 3-4 hydrocodone -- -- it was 48 hours exactly from injestion to the test at office ?

most sales sites say oxy goes out of urine from 8-24 hours --- yet i see peeps on these sites type in days and weeks sometimes -- sometimes i think they just trying to scare people like me even more -- -

i take pain medicine properly due to my own cancer as well --- this was an obvious one time mistake -- i didnt realize how different oxy and hydrocodone could be until now ??

thank you for any honest and open answers
thx
at 35 and a single father of a beautiful boy - i must be ontop of my game and pain management has kept me in good shape through all the operations --
i have never abused a drug --- not even alcohol ....bless

Are you sure it's a problem if you took one?? Am I not understanding the question?

Are you talking other pain meds but you're worried about the oxy showing up seperate?? They won't.

It's just going to show up as an opiate which if you have a hydrocodone Rx or something makes it no big deal. It's not like the test will come back specific to oxycodone unless that's what they ae testing for. I think you should relax and think about it.

I take the 20's and I've always heard 72 hours. The half-life or something is a matter of hours but for it to get out of system I'm pretty sure is at least 48 hours. Drink tons of water and canberry juice. If it is something important like about a child deal or job there are products at GNC called rapid detox kits that work. They are about $40 .

You know it really has become a shame how people that don't abuse pain meds have to put up with crap sometimes. I go through the 'you're addicted' deal all the time. Big deal,,it's part of chronic pain.

Good luck, you sound like a good dude and a good Dad

If it shows on your test they do give you time to offer an explanation. You may have to have your Dr give you that 1 x perscrpt excuse. But you should be ok. it should be out of your system...
Don't take other's meds. It is not a good idea.
