I get chronic Migraines and take oxycontin 40mg 3 times a day. I want to switch doctor because I am moving near these counties. what is the name of your doctor? what kind of pain do you have ? and what are you prescribed for it?
I used to get migraines and other headache related illness. I ended it, by have sinus surgery. They also repaired a deviated septum. This has been the single best thing I have ever had happen to me! Swear to God! I suffered horrible headaches, making me so dizzy at five, I'd fall to the floor. Crazy throughout school, and early twenties. I had the surgery in 91, I can count on my hands, the number of headaches I have had since. Migraines, gone, sinus issues, gone. I would recommend seeing an ENT doc, at the UW. They have a great ENT unit, and you may find that surgery is the answer for you. I'm formerly from Wa, and know the area you are thinking of living, but do not know a pain specialist there. My pain was managed by a doctor in Olympia, a neurologist. I don't live in Washington, anymore, so I was referred to my doctor here, from my doctor in Olympia.I suffer chronic severe pain in my neck/back. I take Methadone for pain management, and have found it very beneficial. Far cheaper than Oxy, pennies on the dollar cheaper. |
