Support website or groups for pain management / back problems & needing support in Australia? |
I'm in the UK and have a friend in Australia who's gotten very low and depressed because of back problem & pain, he's frustrated and losing the inner fight. Its been going on quite some years. I wondered if anyone knows of any support websites for long term pain management, or anything of that nature, he's quite a loner and is only 40, any websites for back specialist advice as i think his problem is quite severe, its hard to help from so far away. Thanks! I've enclosed two websites one of them has a chat room and the other has information for chronic pain. Your friend definitely need support. You are a good friend for trying to help from so far away. best wishes, Billie77 Source(s): http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/pub... http://www.billiechainey.com/ebook/fibro... The Irish Chronic Pain Assosciation has a site but ive never checked it out so i cant tell you if it is any good. I myself did a course in pain managment(chronic back pain for 16yrs). I have loads of info on what he could do to make his life a little bit easier. Email me and i'll send it to you. He is lucky to have such a good friend in you that cares about his situation. |
