27 weeks pregnant and lower abdominal/pelvic pain?

Started yesterday and it comes and goes, but when it comes it can be somewhat intense. Baby is moving around so I am not sure if the pain that I am having is him moving into a new position or if it's Braxton Hicks or if something else is going on. Tried to call my Dr. but they are not in today. No spotting or anything out of the ordinary in that aspect, just concerned with the pain and what it could be. It's more in my pelvic area than abdomen, probably 3 inches away from pelvic bone towards my bellybutton. Any ideas/suggestions? Anyone experience anything like this?

I had the same thing, it was just from walking around or doing too much. Just kind of a stretching of the ligaments as well, this is the time when he baby is really going to be expanding and putting a lot of pressure on all of the muscles holding him/her up. You can always call the hospital and talk to a nurse so you will have peace of mind.

Almost forgot, this was the time I really started sleeping with a pillow under my belly, to help take some of the pressure off. Try to rest more during the day with a pillow under your belly, supporting your back, and between your legs. Rest really did wonders for me.

I would go to the hospital just to be on the safe side. You could try calling your local hospital and talk to a nurse she'll give you advice on whether to come in or wait for your ob to return to the office tomorrow. Good Luck

The best thing to do is go to the hosipal gal
