| *Women health>>>Pelvic Pain |
I am 36+3 weeks. I have been having sharp pains around my pelvic area. lots of weird pains? in labor? |
I have been having bh contractions im pretty sure. I went in the hospitol a few days ago because i thought that my water was leaking but it was just extra mucus. I was 1 cen. dialated and 60% efaced. On the moniter it showed I was having all kinds of contractions but I was not really feeling them. When I got home I was REALLY feeling the pain! I keep having some sharp pains and it feels like he is about to fall out! Last night I got the sudden urge and energy to clean the whole house and set up his room. It seems to me that I am a pound or two smaller recently. whats going on... i would like to know if these are early signs of labor? It could be one of two things Im not too sure hun but I would suggest you contact your midwifeor doctor soon. Contractions are only really important if they are strong, regular and consistent. Otherwise, they are practice ones and labor is not necessarily imminent. It sounds like you have about a week or 2 more, if that! Good luck! sounds like your plug is coming away which is the start of labour...this causes you to dilate as the cervix starts to ripen in preparation...Is the contractions that then make you dilate further and when then get closer and stronger chances are you will have dialted quite a bit... I know this sounds weird but, when you're in labor you wont need to ask anyone if you are or not. You'll know for sure. Trust yourself. If you feel like something's wrong or you think you're really in labor, go. Dont sit and try to feel symptoms. When it happens, you wont be in doubt. Once labor starts, the contractions will be regular and increasing in frequency and intensity - until then it's probably braxton-hicks - either way don't be afraid to go to the hospital if you're worried, the worst they can do is send you home! Good luck! |
