I'm having sharp pains in my pelvic area & my stomach tightens up like a contraction but theres no pain? |
I'm 38 weeks pregnant and i'm having very sharp pains (like a stabbing feeling) in my pelvic area, and my stomach tightens up like a contraction but there is no pain in my abdomen, I have lower back pain also, are these contractions? I need help, please if you know what your talking about then please help me!!!! if you have more than 4 of them in a hour i would contact my doctor/midwife, my doctor told me that contractions could be painless but if i had more than 4 in a hour lasting about 30 second im in labor Yes those are contractions. I had that vvhen I vvas in labor vvith my son, its called back labor. You can still have contractions and not feel any pain, I did that and just kept track of everytime my stomach got hard, Mine vvould get hard every 5mins so I vvent the the hospital and sure enough I vvas in labor and already dialted to a 6! Some people only experience back labor. I'd just keep track of it and if you feel your stomach getting harder every 5mins or less then go the the hospital, if your in labor you vvant to get there and if your not the vvorse that vvill happen is they'll send you home. better safe than sorry sounds to me like you're getting ready to have a baby, seems like they are contractions, try to take the time between those "symptoms" you're having, if they are the kind that comes and goes every certain time...then they definitely are contractions, take the time when you are experience them, when you have them every 5 minutes then ...you're definitely ready! Good Luck They are! Keep track of how far apart they are. Watch for bloodyish discharge (mucus plug) and wait it out! It's probably happening :) Contractions don't have to hurt at first, but they will once you get closer. Do you feel like you have to pee, but nothing comes out? Just breath through it, and wait to go to the hospital until you have established a pattern. Well you should always call your dr to find out whats going on..but you might be going into labor when i went into labor i didnt even know until my cramps were 5 mins apart and went into the hospital..i was 7 cms!! with slight pain It sounds like normal Braxton Hicks contractions. They definitely aren't a comfortable feeling, but they are normal. It sounds like they may be Braxton Hicks contractions nothing to worry about. These are BH. Try to do some walking and drink lots of water. This should help. Good luck!! |
