I'm 26years old , after intercourse once every other time i experience major pelvic pain ?

If you鈥檙e experiencing pain during or after sex there may be several factors that are contributing to the pain you feel. For women there are a number of physical conditions that may make sex hurt, including:

* Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
* Endometriosis
* Ovarian cysts
* Interstitial cystitis
* Vaginismus
* Vulvodynia
* Some sexually transmitted diseases
* Urinary infections
* Yeast infections
* Vaginal dryness
* Physical injury and chronic pain

I would recommend that if you experience pain during or after sex that you consult with your doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation and to rule out any serious causes.

By pelvic pain do you mean pain where your uterus is? Pain in your vagina or pain in the muscles generally in your pelvic area?
Pain where your uterus is, is more than likely due to ovulation, but could be because of something simple like a cyst (the contractions of orgasm cause period like pains).
Pain in your vagina could mean lack of lubricant, or a mild infection.
Pain in the general pelvic area could be strained muscles from the position of you and your partner during lovemaking.

It could be due to the position you were in during sex. Also were you close to your period? You could be having cramps.

It can be due to the position that you were in. Any position that allows for deep penetration can cause your mate to hit your cervix which equals pain. It could also be a sign of cysts so I would speak to a doctor if it continues after you change sex positions.
