Had a pain in pelvic area, pregnant and went to emergency room in hospital.? |
I just found out i was pregnant and i had this sharp pain in pelvic area so i went to the emergency room in the hospital. I told them i just found out i was pregnant..the pain ended up being nothing but They told me to pee in a cup and they took my blood. Do you think they checked to see if i have std's or HIV? just wondering.. so i can go get a blood test again if they didnt. They were probably just checking to see if you were actually pregnant and to make sure that you didn't have an infection. IF you had something they would have told you after reading the results of your blood test. You could always contact them for the results. Next time, just ask them what they are testing for...they will tell you. They MIGHT have checked you since you told them you are pregnant but they usaully dont test for STDs unless you ask to be tested they just checked for an infection. No stds or aids. If you need testing then see your gyno. |
