I am six weeks pregnant and have lower right pelvic pain.?

The pain is really low near where my pubic hairline starts but off to the right. I only get this most of the time when I am sitting up, and it is very mild. I wouldn't even call it pain, but I am not sure what else to call it. It seems like it is a little uncomfortable feeling happening every once and a while during the day. Is this normal? This is my first child and I don't want anything to be wrong. It sort of seems like it is ON my pelvic bone. Any ideas?

The cyst the previous poster is referring to is the corpus luteum cyst. It is the follicle that the egg was released from during ovulation that swells and produces progesterone. It will continue to produce the hormone until your are about 10-14 weeks pregnant and the placenta has developed enough to produce its own progesterone. This cyst and the pain associated with it is completely normal. Do not worry but do mention it to your doctor so he/she is aware. Best of luck to you and enjoy this special time.

I had this too and I went to the doc. They did an ultrasound and when you ovulate you create an ovarian cyst the cyst is there to help provide nutrients for the baby but sometimes can get a little big and so it causes discomfort. As long as there is no bleeding and the pain is constant and imobalizing you are fine. If you are worried always go to the doctor though. If it is worse like I described it could be something serious so go to the ER immediately. But I wouldn't worry I feel pain still everyonce and a while like when I streatch but its fine. Contrats!

its your uterus stretching to fit the baby happens to everyone! get help if you see alot of blood though
