Can pelvic pain be an early sign of pregnancy?

I had unprotected sex about a week ago, and last night i started getting pains around where my ovaries would be.. I know i'm probly just paranoid, but can this be a sign of early pregnancy? or something else?

with my first child it was..but more in the center..as my uterus was stretching..the Dr. told me what I had been feeling was "round ligament" pain...and I had a very small uterus, I was a bit on the younger side..18...and the stretching pain was one of the first things I felt...the VERY FIRST thing I felt..almost from the first few days was breast pain...something I had never felt before..throbbing...weird sensations even before I was late..and this never happened to me again, until I was expecting my 2nd child...again it happend almost instantly. So, which ever way you want this to go..I hope it works out...I don't think being pregnant would cause pain around the ovaries..but it seems be different things to everyone..I never had a day of morning sickness either time! Go figure!

Nope! Probably you got STD. Watch it girl!

No, not usually. It is probably just that you are ovulating or you are about to start your period. Do not stress out too much, because stress can make your period late, which will make you freak out.

Probably not. You wouldn't have any symptoms after only a week.

That's a sign of rought love making. You just had GOOD sex, alittle pain every now and then isnt a bad thing. As far as the unprotected part, take a test in a week early in the morning to see if your prego.

It could be due to ovulation. Women typically ovulate 14 days after the first day of their period.

You wouldn't be feeling any pregnancy symptoms only after a week.

Only way to know for sure is to get tested. Buy a at-home pregnancy test. And while you're at it, maybe buy one of those ovalation packs, too. So you can check and see when you're ovalating.. and when it's best to lay-off having sex. If you're embarrassed about buying pregancy tests, I suggest you go to stores like Wal-Mart where they have their self-check-out lanes. Good luck!
