32 wks pregnant-horrible pain in my pelvic bone? |
im 32 wks pregnant, and i just have this terrible pain in my pelvic bone, it feels like its broken or something. It hurts everytime i move, no matter how i sit, stand, lay, or walk. ive tried a heating pad, ive tried tylenol, i dunno what to do. Hi there, not sure but you could have SPD...have a read of this I have the same problem I can hardly walk and it hurts whatever postion I am in. My midwife said take tylonol but of course it doesn't work. You can try ice to.I was told by one midwife to take it easy because if I go into labor with my pelvic bone hurting then it will make labor more painful but then I had another midwife tell me that it is helpful in labor because it's already seperating. so who knows at least your towards the end and it will be all done sooner than you think. I had the same exact problem your having. When I walked it felt like my bones were rubbing up against each other like i could feel them, it hurt sooo bad. My doctor told me it was the baby, he had dropped down and now the pressure was in my pelvic area, theres really not anything you can do for it unless a doctor tells you, but i would try to just take it as easy as possible, I walked extremaly slow, and sat whenever i could. good luck! I am 25 weeks pregnant with my second child and am already starting to feel discomfort and pressure in my pelvic area. The closer you get to delivery the greater than pain can become, as your baby is dropping and putting constant pressure on your pelvic. While this is normal, there are some things to look out for. I found the following information online. Hope it helps. It sounds to me like the baby is dropping into position, I had that with all 3 of mine and thats what I was told, its the babys head and the pressure onto your pelvic bone, i had this and was the baby laying on a nerve and the midwife said was nothing really could do about it- nice! lol lasted few weeks then subsided |
