Lower abdomen/pelvic area pain? |
Hi, Probably normal since you have a cold and have been putting strain on some of your abdominal muscles. Also may be round ligament pain. As long as you get to the doctor tomorrow, everything should be fine, but if the pain persists, I would call my midwife immediately if I were you. If I were you I'd call my doctor just to double check that everything is fine. I found that in my pregnancy I'd ask my friends and just write off the problem, that would later turn out to not be the case. The fact that your so early in your pregnancy, I would not think that you'd already have the pain from lower ligament, that usually happens later on, in my opinion. But I'd honestly call my doctor just to make sure, you'd rather be safe than sorry. That's how I always looked at it. If you have a cold, it is likely it is caused by coughing. I'm not pregnant but I get like that after I cough so much. Yeah, I am the same weeks. Some mornings or during the night I wake up with sharp, kinda cold stretching feeling from one side to the other. When I cough it really hurts so I push down on my stomach and been my knees to release some pain. I do imagine you are fine but at next appt. mention it to your doctor. Good- Luck!!! Sound normal. Those ligaments are stretching during your whole pregnancy also your pelvic bone will widen. Just talk with the midwife tomorrow and get the anwers you nee. |
